The topic was "compound modifiers". First, students had a review of their previous lessons to get them ready for the new topic through oral recitation. Then, Mr. Richard introduced the new lesson by asking students to read some sample sentences. Next, he explained the concepts of the lesson through PowerPoint Presentation. To check students comprehension after the lecture, the teacher asked the class to analyze and answer the questions/exercises. The class activities went well. All showed interest and good understanding about the new topic.
