Students enjoyed a great oral reading drill from the very start of the lesson. Then, Mr. Jack dictated the previous vocabularies with a time limit. Before the discussion, the teacher explicitly stated the learning goals as guideline for the students. The highlight of the class activities was an intensive discussion of "first and second conditionals" through TV media. He also explained the grammar rules by giving sets of examples until all students could answer his questions. He developed students responses by further questioning. The class also enjoyed extra activities such as listening to songs related to the topic. The workbook exercises were finished before the time limit through the "go together" technique". This lesson was a success. All students were active and participative. The lesson objectives were implemented very well.
