KG 1/5 learnt English Language class with teacher Aaron. His lesson was about the letter "Kk". Students warmed up by singing the Phonics song and read the weekly vocabularies on the board. Then, they pronounced the correct sound and learnt the meaning in Thai. Next, he presented the vocabulary using flashcards and drew pictures on the board. After that, they completed the practice exercise in their workbooks. The teacher also asked random questions to check students understanding. All of them participated well in the lesson.
Morning Time in G.6-9, P.6, and M.1-3. To warm up students before their first lesson, Foreign Department teachers provided many educational activities for them to enjoy such as, guessing words, forming sentences and many more to stimulate their abilities in speaking, listening, and critical thinking. Most of them had fun doing the tasks and were ready for the day's studies.
Students participated in the morning activities to motivate and prepare them for their lessons after the long weekend. During this short period of time they were able to practice collaboration with their peers. The activities helped them learn how to plan and deal with problems as fast as they can. They showed great teamwork while learning.
After the long holidays, the teachers prepared the students for the first period with various activities using colorful flashcards and educational games to get them ready for their day. All of them enjoyed the activities and participated very well.
Students learned the topic "Plants - parts of a flower" during the lesson. Ms. Kareen introduced the topic by showing different pictures of flowers and at the same time asked students to identify them. Then, she explained the gist of the lesson to enhance students understanding. From time to time, the teacher asked random questions to check students understanding. The class drew a flower and labelled the different parts in their notebooks was the conclusion of the lesson. Students produced great work after the class.
